Fratello Law

Peyton Neil Gambino, JD

Law Clerk

Peyton is a Law Clerk at Fratello Law, P.C., where he supports the firm’s attorneys in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, and Guardianships. Since joining the firm in the spring of 2024, he has gained meaningful experience assisting with a wide range of matters—from Medicaid applications and estate proceedings to the preparation of estate planning documents tailored to each client’s unique goals.

Peyton takes great pride in working closely with clients and their families, offering support and guidance as they navigate the often complex and emotionally charged landscape of long-term care planning and Medicaid eligibility. He is deeply committed to helping individuals protect their dignity, autonomy, and assets during life’s most challenging transitions. He also finds fulfillment in drafting estate planning documents—including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives—approaching each matter with creativity and care to ensure that every client’s wishes are clearly expressed and thoughtfully respected.

Before joining Fratello Law, Peyton interned at both the Suffolk County Family Court and the Suffolk County Surrogate’s Court, where he served under the late Honorable Theresa Whelan. His time at the Surrogate’s Court was especially formative, offering firsthand exposure to the nuances of probate and estate administration. Judge Whelan’s unwavering dedication to justice and her compassion for the families who appeared before her left a lasting impact on Peyton and played a central role in shaping his decision to pursue a career in law.

A native of Long Island, Peyton enjoys volunteering in his local community, spending time with his partner, family, and friends, and caring for animals—a lifelong passion.
